REVIEW
Sharing new style of food
More natural
More simple
and happier.
The owner of Shochikuen, Haruka Iwahashi became oriental vegetarian in 2015.
She felt that even though that Japan is known as developed country, it's not friendly with vegan and vegetarian comparing to other countries where you can have plenty of choices.
We opened original vegetarian specialty store in April, 2019 to make the situation better.
We also opened vegetarian cafe in the same year December, in Asakusa.
Communicating with vegan customers gave us new discovery and we started avoiding dairy products and honey. In April 2020, owner and cafe became all vegan.
Started Shochikuen online store in January, 2021. Oriental vegan store was opened in June, 2021 in Arakawa.
We have been putting efforts on expanding the idea of vegan life to both vegan and non-vegans.
We provide heart-warming foods with your smile.
We hope to make as many people as happy with Shochikuen cafe that has started during difficult time under covid-19.
All our staff are trying our best at all the time.
We deliver smile and happiness with vegan foods.
